The FOXBORO FBM202 P0926EQ is a thermocouple/mV input interface module. It is designed to be used with the Foxboro I/A Series distributed control system (DCS). The FBM202 has eight thermocouple input channels and one isolated RTD reference junction compensation channel.Each thermocouple/mV input channel accepts standard thermocouples for various temperature ranges, and each provides thermocouple burnout detection (up-scale). The inputs are galvanically isolated from other channels and ground. The module performs the signal conversion required to convert the thermocouple or mV signal to a digital signal that can be processed by the DCS.
