There’s the $250 story you’ve probably heard, and then there’s the real story. They have never charged for their recipe! The $250 recipe includes oatmeal and nuts, which I don't use for any of the chocolate chip cookie recipes. They never even had a real recipe, but in the mid-1990s, the Neiman Marcus executive chef decided to take action, by developing and sharing a real recipe. The taste is still legendary and real!
