The Girodisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination and is a direct replacement for the OEM brake rotors. The two-piece floating disc will bolt directly to the car and work with OEM calipers perfectly. By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. Girodisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. The reduction in rotational and unsprung weight (8 lbs/3.6kg per corner) allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.
