The lids are very light, only a few pounds with the screen for whole beans. A single center lid latch prevents reaching around for clamps. Lids for coffee grounds come with a filter system to vent the weigh-fill machine and contain coffee grounds and dust. Lids for whole coffee beans do not include this filter.
