Have you ever been outside in the Winter and just... listened? Sometimes, I sit in the snow and close my eyes, and I feel like everything -- including my fears, worries and doubts -- are all being absorbed by the world around me. It's a moment of peace that's sometimes punctuated by falling flakes and crunching footsteps. Winter feels like the earth itself has pulled a fluffy down comforter over its head and said, it's time for a little bit of a rest. We don't often give ourselves permission to rest, but today I'm offering that option for you. Take a deep breath and feel yourself sinking into the snow -- even if it's just imaginary snow.
