1980's Bob Mackie Black Cut-Out Rhinestone Illusion Gown Size 0-2

This is not your average vintage. This is original Bob Mackie, from his mainline collection in the 1980s—sold through Saks Fifth Avenue back when department stores actually carried couture. It's a one-way ticket to main character energy, and it’s not subtle. This is THE dress. She is made of nude illusion mesh and completely hand-embellished with jet black and silver rhinestones in a wave-like pattern that wraps the body. It features strong shoulders, long bat-wing sleeves with zippers on each wrist, a high neck, scalloped open back, and mid-length hem. Sleek, sheer, structured—and unapologetically over-the-top in the best ways. The shoulder pads can be easily removed but we love them the way they are. This isn’t from one of the cheaper licensing offshoots. It’s Bob Mackie at his peak, when he was dressing Cher, Diana, and anyone else who needed to own a stage.  This dress has the original union tags, making it a true vintage piece. It is listed as a vintage size 10, but this dress wil
