Falling Leaf Bonnet - Knitting Pattern
I created this bonnet with Newborns and Waldorf Dolls in mind, but this little piece of clothing makes a cute addition to any newborn and/or doll closet. With this purchase, you will receive the knitting pattern, not the finished product. Things you will need to know: Abbreviations: K - knitP – purl M1- knit one stitch from the bar between the right and left-hand needle Pm- place marker Sm- slip markerYo – yarn overK2P – Slip stitch, knit 2 together. Pass slip stitch over (double decrease) Kf/b – knit front and back into the same stitch (increase) Making 2 stitches out of 1 M1R – using your right-hand needle, pick up the bar between the right and left-hand needle through the front. Place on the left-hand needle, now knit this stitch through the back loop M1L - using your right-hand needle, pick up the bar between the right and left-hand needle through the back.
