MTi-8 Development Kit
Overview The MTi-8 is a cm-accurate GNSS/INS as a 12.1 x 12.1 mm module with an interface of an external GNSS receiver. The optimized strapdown algorithm (AttitudeEngineTM) performs high-speed dead-reckoning calculations at 1 kHz allowing accurate capture of high frequency motions. Movella's industry-leading sensor fusion algorithm provides high accuracy and sensor auto-calibration in a cost-effective module for a wide range of (embedded) applications. It relieves users from the design, integration and maintenance of gyroscopes, accelerometers, and other sensors. The MTi-8 is supported by the MT Software Suite which includes MT Manager (GUI for Windows/Linux), SDK, example codes and drivers for many platforms including ROS. Features: Fully calibrated, 3D IMU data Orientation data (Roll, Pitch, Heading) Cm-accurate position output and dead-reckoning Yaw/heading accuracy 1° RMS (with RTK, while moving) Position accuracy 1 cm CEP and velocity of 0.05 m/s RMS UART, SPI, I²C interfaces (selectable) 0.5° RMS roll/pitch accuracy Connects to external RTK GNSS receiver, various protocols supported: UBX, NMEA, SBF, GSOF Dimensions: 12.1 x 12.1 x 2.55 mm Weight: 0.6g Input voltage: 2.8 to 3.6V Power consumption (typ.): <150 mW @ 3V Data protocols: Xbus (proprietary binary) Output frequency: Up to 1kHz The MTi-8 Development Kit includes: MTi-8 in socket MTi 1-series Dev board RTK GNSS daughter card with ZED F9P RTK GNSS antenna Micro-USB cable Applications Robotics Autonomous vehicles Surveying Drones Unmanned vehicles Handheld devices Vehicle testing Marine use Aviation Ship/vessel tracking Navigation/control Satellite control Localization Resources MTi-8 Leaflet Software Download
