The front squeegee is slotted to to let the floor solution to pass through into the squeegee assembly that creates chamber for the solution to be vacuumed up in to leave your floors dry to the touch.Each squeegee blade can be used in all four directions for increased lifespan. You can use the front side of the squeegee, then rotate it, so the backside is facing forward. Then, you can flip it upside down, and use both of those surfaces.
