The Calcite is a darker white with a grainy look and feel. Brown Pyrite coats one edge of most of the hexagonal quartz crystals with a small dusting of yellow on one edge of the specimen. The grainy, encrusting Pyrite crystals also draw attention to the coated side with a sparkle that outshines the normally glowing quartz.
