Moose Landscape Painting - "Bluebird Days" 16x20

"Bluebird Days" Summer in the mountains is something else. I love exploring the creek bottoms for wildlife on those sunny July days. The cool mountain air, the intensely warm sun rays, and the sound of air rushing through the distant forests... I can't help but smile just thinking about it. A couple years ago a crossed paths with a cow moose and her calf crossing a small stream. It was a bluebird day just like this. After finding the perfect place on another river this past summer, I knew I had to capture the two experiences together into one painting. Specifics: 16x24" oil/acrylic painting - canvas on board.
