This #8000 grit stone is ideal for polishing the blade and putting a refined edge on your knives after working with a lower grit stone. Each stone comes with an attached base for easy sharpening straight out of the box. A Nagura stone is also included, which is used to flatten the stone as well as help create a slurry for optimal sharpening. For best results, splash water on the stone before use and allow to dry completely before storing.
