Sundown Abstract

I’ve been falling in love with this process of “messy abstracts” lately, adding layer after layer of watery swashes, splatters, and scribbles until the perfect mess occurs and sparks delight in me that feeds so much inspiration! When I sit down to work on these I feel so free and struck with just the pure joy of painting without rules, and that’s so rejuvenating for me every time. The Sundown Abstract is perfectly peachy with punches of sienna, pencil sketches, and the tiniest dots that draw your eye closer.
