Peace

This verse in John 14:27 is one of my favorites because it reminds us of the incredible peace that Jesus offers us. He tells us, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” This isn’t just any peace—it’s HIS peace, which is dramatically different from what the world can offer. And He freely GIVES it to us!🙌🏼 The world's idea of peace can be fleeting, depending on circumstances or temporary things. But Jesus gives us a deep, lasting peace that stays with us no matter what we're going through. It's a peace that steadies us and helps us keep our joy when life gets tough, you know? And that last part—“Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid”—is so comforting. It’s Jesus telling us, "Don’t let fear or anxiety take over your mind.
