Loving Hands
''The humblest tasks get beautified if loving hands do them." Louisa May Alcott In the washing of dishes, the folding of clothes, the baking of cookies, the wiping up spills. The grocery store runs, the mending of clothes, the gathering of supplies, and the packing of lunches. The boo-boo kisses, the late night chats, the answering of 100 questions by lunch, and the lap snuggles. Every little moment and task is important and would be noticed if it wasn’t done. ✔️ It’s easy to do some of these tasks in frustration, and I’m convicted of the many times I huff and puff when cleaning up everyone’s messes and having to go back for a third tuck-in when I’m exhausted. ⚽️🧸 🛌 But what do we want them to remember? I want them to experience my joy in serving the ones I love. I want it to ignite the same joy in their hearts to serve and find joy in the simple moments of life. I want them to enjoy the presence of a happy mom who cherishes the opportunity to serve her family.🤍 My friend Casey
