The moment we start letting other things come in and take precedence, when we crack open doors carelessly inviting in things that will start a slow burn that eventually has the power to consume us fully - when we do this our eyes become darkened. We lose sight of what we used to see and know and believe. We forget the truth and the beauty of the Lord departs from us, and that’s so sad to think about and to see someone walk through.
