Beatitudes

If you haven’t read The Beatitudes in a while I hope this print encourages you to pause and take it in once more. In a book called A Beautiful Offering by Angela Thomas, she talks about how she used to look at the beatitudes as “gotta be’s”. As in, GOTTA be meek, GOTTA be merciful, etc. But instead they are more like “WHEN you are’s”. WHEN you are meek, WHEN you are merciful…. God doesn’t require perfection, but rather our gracious obedience. Hang this art print in your home as a reminder that choosing these good qualities produce beautiful promises from our Lord Jesus Christ. It is worthwhile to seek Him and pray for His guidance in these areas so that we can serve our families and those around us with gladness and joy.
