Fixing (and Preventing) Mistakes

Become a more confident knitter when you learn to fix common mistakes in your work! We'll cover tinking and frogging, saving dropped stitches, and fixing knits, purls and yarn overs. Note:  you'll need to complete a swatch of knitting which we will work with during class, so register early! Skill Level:  Adventurous Beginner Experience Required:  Basic knit and purl on a flat swatch Materials Needed:  Pre-made swatch knit with smooth, light-colored worsted yarn, needles (size US 7 or 8) and a smaller crochet hook FOR THE SWATCH: Using US 7 or 8 needles and light colored worsted weight yarn, cast on 26 stitches.  Knit 5 rows, then knit the following two rows until the swatch is approximately 4" long.  DO NOT BIND OFF! Bring your swatch to class! Row 1: Knit all stitches          Row 2: k3, p20, k3         Repeat Row 1 and 2 Price:  $50 for one 2-hour session
