Meyer Lemon Spread

This zesty Meyer Lemon Spread is a wonderful sweet, yet slightly tart addition to dessert. Meyer lemons are a hybrid between the lemon and tangerine, which creates the warm yellow color. Our dear Granny Morgan made the most wonderful lemon pie by folding sour cream into her homemade lemon curd. Gently combining this Meyer Lemon Spread with just about equal parts fresh sour cream is about the closest we've come to that deliciousness. We also recommend slathering this over our Southern Pound Cake and topping with fresh berries.
