These ammo pouches date back to the Cold War period (late 1950s to 1960s) when Czechoslovakia was a member state of the communist Warsaw Pact allied with the Soviet Union and long before the country peacefully dissolved itself in 1992 to form two separate republics- the Czech Republic and Slovakia.Brown pigskin construction, leather tab closure, designed to hold four 30 round magazines for the VZ 58 rifle. The belt loop on the back can fit a 2” wide belt, measures 6" wide x 9" tall x 2 1/2" deep. Used condition, each pouch has its own distinctive weathered appearance.
