This rod has the exact same action and feel as our flag ship daytime swordfish rod except it is 5” shorter and fits on a #2 butt. That shorter length causes less wear on the angler and the smaller #2 butt is ideal for small more light weight 50 class hand crank reels. This rod is also idea for smaller electric reels such at the Banax 1500 or Beast Master 9000. Come with Fuji SiC or Alps Titanium guides and a Winthrop roller tip. This rod is built on our proprietary swordfish rod blank designed by us specifically for sword fishing! This rod is perfect for seeing the subtle bite while daytime sword fishing.
