Goodwin Stream is in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of Southern Colorado. At one time there was a series of beaver dams that created a magical place that was heaven on earth for catching Brook trout and making memories. The Goodwin Beaver ponds were a keystone to my family and close friends where we all grew up fishing and making memories. This culminated with one final trip in 2018 where all of brothers and sister made the trip up there to capture pictures and memories to share with my father before he passed the following spring. This net was my first personal design of a landing net. It was developed to be the perfect Brook Trout Stream net. The Goodwin is a triangular shaped net that is 11” – 12” on each side with rounded corners. This is a great net for the small streams where memories that last a lifetime are
