OXY-08NP Oxyclean Option

The OXY-08NP attaches to your Nitro Pro, SideKick, or SideWindr, allowing it to draw a small amount of chlorine or hydrogen peroxide solution into the unit during backwash.  This can help to prevent the Nitro Pro's media bed from being fouled by iron/sulfur bacteria, extending the life of your Smart Blend media, and improving the overall performance of your filter system.  The OXY-08NP installs in minutes,  by simply attaching the tubing to the control valve, and activating the Oxyclean program on your control valve. We recommend the use of the OXY-08NP on any application with >3ppm of iron, or anytime the presence iron or sulfur bacteria is suspected. Note:  The OXY-08NP is not suitable for outdoor installations
