The piece was probably composed in 1781 or 1782 and is often known by the subtitle "Gran Partita". The movement has one of the most beautiful melodic line. Many knew this piece through the film about Mozart (the Amadeus). Chaipruck Mekara transcribed the movement for 2 Oboes, BbClarinet & Bassoon.
