While there is a set of initials and a year on the sampler, what really stood out to me was the birds sitting on the temple. I decided to use The Gentle Arts Simply Wool again for this one. It's such a joy to stitch with. Simply Wool is easily converted to The Gentle Arts cotton overdyed floss since they are named the same as their cotton counterparts.
