They are colorfast to industry standards, it is recommended that if you choose to wash your fabric, it should be done prior to stitching.As with any hand-dyed item, this will vary a bit from batch to batch. dependent on dye, water, base product, temperature, drying process - everything makes a difference - but mostly the variance in base product. it is impossible to photograph each batch so keep in mind that each batch differs a few degrees. "Baklava" is close to DMC Ecru but possibly with hints of khaki and I swear I saw some rose in there.
