Part of the Celtic Warrior collection, The Wood Quay collection is inspired by Vikings. The Vikings came to Ireland in 795AD and gave Dublin or Dubh-Linn, meaning Black Pool, its name. They were in Ireland until King Brian Boru defeated them in 1014. This happened during the Battle of Clontarf on Good Friday, April 23, 1014. Wood Quay is the site where the remains of a huge Viking settlement was founded in Dublin, and rediscovered n the 1970’s. Two sizes Large and Medium - the Large is shown here.
