The Vineyard: The Beckstoffer Amber Knolls vineyard produces Cabernet Sauvignon grapes of exceptional character due to the high elevation volcanic hillsides of the Red Hills of Lake County. The Wine: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Malbec and aged for 26 months in 100% new French oak barrels. 14.5% ABV Only 2 barrels of this delicious wine were crafted 2017 Beckstoffer Amber Knolls Cabernet: Full-bodied, ruby-colored wine with flavors of red raspberry and black cherry followed by notes of currants, anise, and even violet-wrapped herbs. Plum and black pepper spice noted on the long, smooth finish.
