Spacemaster 80 Cucumber Seeds- Organic

Spacemaster 80 cucumbers are a bush variety with 2-3' vines that grows well in small spaces and containers. The cucumbers are dark green and will grow 7-8" when mature. They are very productive, reliable, and have excellent flavor. The fruit is crisp and taste with a satisfying bite. A wonderful cucumber for snacking, salads, and sandwiches. Harvest them small for a great pickling cucumber. Spacemaster 80 performs well in a wide range of climates and is disease resistant. Cucumber seeds can be planted directly into the garden soil. Sow seeds 2-3 weeks after the last frost date.  Make mounds of rich soil 2' apart and plant 2 seeds on top 1/2" deep. Later thin to 1 plant per mound. Keep well watered and fertilized throughout the growing season. Mulching can be useful in conserving moisture and minimizing the presence of weeds.
