Old Man Cactus (Cephalocereus senilis)

This cactus has wispy white hair that resemble that of an old man! It is a slow growing, unique cactus that also goes by the names white bunny or Persian cat cactus. This long lived cactus can survive upwards of 200 years! Old man cacti do have thorns hidden within and sometimes poking through their soft hair, so be sure to handle this cactus with the same care that most cacti demand.  Cephalocereus senilis are pet safe, though they still have thorns that can poke our beloved pets. These thorns make this cactus unsafe for reptile enclosures.  Photos are representative and some natural variation should be expected. Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot.
