Neoregelia 'Duck Soup'

Neoregelia 'Duck Soup' is a striking variety. When grown in adequate lighting, the dark red of older leaves contrast nicely with the bright yellows of the mottled inner leaves. The small size of this variety makes it a top choice for dart frog enclosures. Neoregelia spp. are close relatives of bromeliads and require the same care, which can be found here. Neoregelia can tolerate moderate to low light conditions, but thrive in bright indirect light.  Members of the bromeliad family, Bromeliaceae, are pet safe- so no worries for our furry friends! Bromeliads and their relatives are great additions to tropical enclosures, especially for dart frogs. They can either be mounted on the background or wood accents in the enclosures, or planted into the soil. Plants will be shipped bare root and are suitable for a 4 inch pot.
