Flaming Sword Bromeliad (Vrisea 'Flaming Sword')

The contrast of the leaves and the flower spike are to die for on these bromeliads! Many plants within Bromeliaceae, or the bromeliad family, share the common name "Bromeliad." Though, it is not to be confused with those in the genus Bromelaid! Luckily for bromeliad enthusiasts and beginners alike, nearly all of the plants called bromeliads have the same care. This bromeliad would make a wonderful addition to a large tropical enclosure!
