"Walking on Sunshine" is a 20x16 x 1.75 inch original mixed media painting on canvas. This painting is inspired by the happy 1985 song of the same title by Katrina and the Waves. It features bright, colorful birds with pops of yellow sunshine, text, fairy tales and bits of glittery paper mixed in with other collage papers. The painting includes lyrics and sheet music from the song, and you can see them peeking through the paint and bits of collage paper.  I listened to the song while painting and smiled the whole time.  (sides are painted in a neutral color to match the painting).  Some of the lyrics: I used to think maybe you loved meNow, baby, I'm sureAnd I just can't wait 'til the dayWhen you knock on my door Now every time I go for the mailboxGotta hold myself down'Cause I just can't wait 'til you write meYou're coming around Now I'm walking on sunshineI'm walking on sunshineI'm walking on sunshineAnd it's starting to feel good, heyAll right nowAnd it's starting to feel good
