There are a few areas where it had some water pitting from not being properly cared for. It has been restored and will not rust if properly cared for. We have discounted it to reflect that so this is a wonderful piece to have as a daily user. Wagner cast iron, made in Sidney Ohio, was known for their amazingly light and smooth cast iron cookware. This skillet is a prime example! This skillet was manufactured in the early 1920‘s and has the classic heat ring.
