See our website to contact us directly at www.castandclarabell.com Birmingham Stove and Range produced some of the nicest skillets, dutch ovens and cast iron cookware in the south in the Early to Mid 1900‘s. The Red Mountain Series was one of the earliest to be produced, with the earliest having handmade, hand-scribed marked pieces. This #8 handscribed bottom dutch oven does not sit flat so its best for a gas or electric coil top. It will work on glass but its not the flattest. It‘s a really cool piece of southern history! Their history of use means small marks and inconsistencies, including residual carbon, which we feel give them a special charm.
