It is one of the oldest slant logos bearing only the ERIE name, rather than the later E.P.U. full marking. The surface is smooth as can be, and will darken with each repeat seasoning. It sits flat and is a fantastic pan for daily use, and to show off in your gourmet kitchen. Being over a century old, you will be very pleased with your purchase!
