White Roses - photogravure print - The Weekly Edition

My friends know me well and I love them for this. A dear friend brought me these roses when she came over to my home for a dinner party last week. She told me that we shared a fondness of white roses and photographs of them as they cycle through life. For me still life works best when the objects come to me as volunteers. Thank you Rita. Hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel  Noir 55981, Bistre, Sanguine, and Madder lake red inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints and  2 A/P prints. Hand-pulled print by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 6 6.5"x 6.5" inches on an 11 x 15.5" sheet. Signed numbered and titled by the artist on the lower front.
