Portrait of Catriona - photogravure print - The Weekly Edition

Over the years I have been lucky to have models I worked with many times over many years. I had been working with Catriona for 6 years when I made this photograph.  I was at the time working to change the plane of focus in the frame as a way to introduce mystery and I made this picture.  I printed it small on a smaller than usual sheet out of my love for small objects.  This hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel carbon black and raw sepia ink, with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 10 numbered prints and 2 A/P prints.  Hand-pulled print by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 10 4.5 x 6.0on an 10x12 sheet. Signed numbered and dated by the artist on the lower front.
