The Face of Change - photogravure print - The Weekly Edition

I am in the throws of change in my journey as an artist. I am striving to grow and connect more deeply with myself and my photography work. I am lucky to have a small community of friends to help guide me conceptually, at the same time I am streamlining my process of making negatives. I have set aside my 4x5 large format camera and started carrying a Rolleiflex, a simple fixed lens tool that I find allows me some freedom. I discovered this giant mask on a walk in my neighborhood and felt like it was a self portrait of how I feel during this time of change.  Hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel Prussian blue, Noir 55981, and Madder red inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints and  2 A/P prints. Hand-pulled print by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 6 6"x 6" inches on an 11 x 15.5" sheet. Signed numbered and titled by the artist on the lower front.
