Flesh and Bone - photogravure print - The Weekly Edition

I am always on the look out. Props, ideas, collaborators for my work essentially. This picture is part of my Objects of Beauty series that has been ongoing for a number of years, it is a play of words I find interesting and meaningful. I found this tiny skull one day while photographing outdoors, probably a mouse I guess but so intricate and beautiful I knew it to be perfect for my series.  This hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel carbon black, raw sepia, and warm sepia inks with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 10 numbered prints and  3 A/P prints.  Hand-pulled print by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 10 5.75 x 7.5  inches on an 11x 15 sheet. Signed numbered and dated by the artist on the lower front.
