Early Morning Oaks - Polymer photogravure print - Edition 2021
I have never been good at getting up really early to go outside and make photographs. On this particular weekend, I was on a retreat with some other photographers in my community. We were staying at a member's home in the Columbia River Gorge and everyone was up early including Moi. I was stunned by the beauty of this Oak tree with a light fog in the air. My children tease me that most of my landscape pictures are titled " Tree and Fog" what can I say..... This hand-pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Gamblin Portland Black ink, on Rives BFK paper. I decided on an edition of 14 numbered prints and 2 A/P prints. Hand made by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 14 6 x 7.5 on an 11x15 sheet. Signed numbered and dated by the artist on the lower front.
