As Time Passes - Polymer photogravure print - Edition 2021
As I get older I have become very aware of how time passes, and how that looks. My children are adults, doing all the things required, I look different, everybody around me looks different. In this picture, I had a very large green leaf hanging in my studio for some time, time passed. The leaf dried and looked different. When the model arrived I was moved by the scene of the pair. This hand-pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Gamblin bone black and sepia inks, on Rives BFK paper. I decided on a chine collé with Awagami Kitakata. and an edition of 9 numbered prints and 3 A/P prints. Hand made by Ray Bidegain Limited edition of 9 chine collé 6.25 x 7.25 on an 11x15 sheet. Signed numbered and dated by the artist on the lower front.
