Different brackets are required depending on cab configuration, make sure you order correctly.  This product is unlike any step ever created for these trucks. They've been designed for both maximum strength and stability, while requiring minimal drilling on the truck cab. Each step is adjustable and uses a support rod with heim joints to stabilize and reduce flex/movement. All holes that are required to be drilled, are either hidden or not noticeable at all once installation is completed.  Each step, regardless of cab configuration is positioned by a pre-existing hole in the pinch weld under the cab rocker.
