This Sandia Sniper portable 6 gallon extractor is unheated, for use in several different cleaning situations. It is perfect for small areas like bedrooms, as well as upholstery cleaning. When cleaning indoors, an unheated machine can do all of the regular maintenance of routine, scheduled cleaning. Heated water will definitely speed up the cleaning process, but normal tap water will do just fine for your typical maintenance cleaning. For residential environments, we recommend cleaning your carpets every 3 to 6 months. If you are able to add hot tap water when cleaning, this machine will clean just as well as our heated carpet extractors, but it will save you money by not having to invest in a more expensive heated extractor.
