The Cardiff Experience: Backcountry Essentials

Cardiff Snowcraft is proud to offer a comprehensive introductory course for beginner to intermediate splitboarders and skiers (March 22-23). The Cardiff Instructor brings over three decades of backcountry experience and outdoor education to encourage others to get on the mountain safely, efficiently, and with the right gear. This class is designed for beginner and intermediate splitboarders who are ready to move from resort riding to the backcountry.  Each participant will learn new information, techniques or improve your current splitboard skills. The fundamentals of this course are essential for moving towards a splitboard 101 avalanche course and/or Level 1 avalanche course.  Our courses operate at a 10:1 student-to-instructor ratio to ensure participants gain as much as possible from the course.  Each participant must have prerequisite snowboard skills and experience of riding advanced intermediate in-bounds terrain and familiarity with riding powder slopes.
