Humbleness because God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble, and boldness because in order to love His people you have to be willing to have courage to be uncomfortable to meet someone where they are... which is often outside our little comfort zones. It is a reminder to keep them both in mind as we are here on this earth trying our hardest to follow Jesus in this broken and hurting world. In the creation of this piece, a mixture of colorful yet slightly muted colors were used in the background to symbolize humbleness and humility and a bold black design was used for the foreground in semblance of boldness."
