AERO 50 Disc

For 2019 we have a new range of road bike aero disc brake wheels. We nicely called this wheel range the Aero range to make it easy for you. The Aero 50 is a 50mm deep section rim. I’m sure you can see what we did there. The new Aero range is based on our highly successful Fast and Light series. Our FL series was a tubeless aero range of wheels constructed using Toray T700 carbon fiber. We designed these wheels to be light, stiff, and strong while being a wide blunt aero shape. We wanted to keep those features and make the wheels lighter. Our engineers tried out various new layups and in the end designed a new layup using both T700 and T800 carbon fiber. The new layup allowed the wheels to be around 100g per wheelset lighter and still retain their stiffness and strength while still being the same aero shape. We then needed an amazing new hubset to go with these wheels. Our engineers came up with the new D01 hubset. A sealed bearing hubset that we have made available in both Centreloc
