We’re always on the hunt for partners that promote women’s equity in coffee, so we’ve partnered with COOCENTRAL, a nonprofit co-op aligned with this mission.Coffee is woven into the identity of Colombia, and women have long been a cornerstone of the agro-food industry. According to the National Coffee Federation, women represent 31% of Colombian coffee producers. COOCENTRAL has put together this stunning community lot through collaboration with over 600 female producers to increase visibility and create space for these producers to have more influence in the coffee industry. We’ve roasted the Huila Women’s lot darker than the rest of our offerings to elevate its warm and comforting notes of brown sugar cookie and dark cocoa, though we stopped short of a typical medium roast
