281.40 Translucent hot melt.  Basis: Ethylene - Vinyl Acetate (EVA) Technical Data:  Viscosity (mPas/cPs): approx. 80,000 at 200°C (392°F) Brookfield-Thermosel  approx. 100,000 at 190°C (374°F) approx. 130,000 at 180°C (356°F) Density (g/cm3): approx. 1.1 (9.1 lbs./gal.)  Softening Point: approx. 105°C (231°F) Ring & Ball  Color: 40- natural; 41 - white  Characteristics: Elastic, good adhesion, low melt viscosity and good resistance to oxidation as well as good color stability in the melt. The product has a wide range of possible applications due to its good heat-sealing properties, heat resistance and long hot tack. Very good mechanical processing characteristics, exact application without hot melt stringing.
