
Victorian Pine 6 Drawer Dairy Table
Approximate dimensions: 72" long, 42" wide, 30.75" tall, 21.25" height under apron Finish: Stripped/unwaxed. Used in an old Victorian home as a kitchen prep table, this English dairy table is quite wide. Built in the 1800's with practicality in mind, this dairy table has 3 large drawers on either side, perfect for cutlery storage. The drawers have hand cut dovetail joints, and retain their original traditional English knobs. The top is comprised of solid pine planks and finished with tongue and groove bread board ends. This table would comfortably seat 6 and is quite sturdy. English Pine pieces during this period (as well as Georgian Period) are found to have tight graining exemplifying the slow growth pine trees they were crafted from. Old growth pine has been found to be quite hard (compared to newer growth pine found in continental
